About Camp Carpenter @ Home

Camp Carpenter @ Home is open to everyone non-Scouts and Scouts alike. Each Adventure Kit is labeled according to the grade or Cub Scout rank the youth will be entering in the fall.

Each kit will consist of 2 days worth of program and it will be open for 7 days during your week of camp. Just like summer camp, there will be a daily opening and closing of flags. Each box will contain 3-4 activities to be completed outdoors with an adult partner, and the family, and they are not in front of a screen. There will also be 3 to 4 demonstrations, interviews/ conversations, instructions, or activities that can be watched at your leisure during your week.

The kit will also contain links to our opening and closing campfires for the week. You select the kit that is associated with the grade level they are going to be in the fall or their rank.

About Griswold Scout Reservation @ Home

Griswold Scout Reservation @ Home is open to all young men and women Ages 11-18, or completed the fifth grade, and it is for non-Scouts and Scouts alike.

Each kit will consist of the necessary supplies for the programs you choose. There are 18 different merit badge-based programs to choose from and you can choose up to 6 of these programs. Badge resources will become available on the Saturday of your week of camp and will remain accessible after your week. During your week at camp you’ll not only have fun with staff members and your fellow campers, but you’ll also complete challenges, participate in programs, and work toward earning merit badges. Just like summer camp, there will be daily opening and closing flag ceremonies, as well as evening activities. There will also be instructional videos for 3-5 “afternoon” activities that you can choose to complete at your leisure.
